Planning on spending the week off in Sutton? Great idea! In addition to the activities at the mountain, the region also has a lot to offer!

That being said, the activities of the Mont SUTTON school break program are not the only activities offered in the Sutton area. Several activities and/or shops nearby can help you wait until the chairlifts reopen the next day!

At the end of a big day of skiing, what better way to rest than a trip to the restaurant. The Sutton area is ideal for a variety of culinary experiences. Whether for restaurants or cafes you will be delighted to discover all the dining rooms available in the area. However, restaurants are not the only attraction of the region. Indeed, microbreweries, a chocolate shop and a bakery are also present in our beautiful region and will make you discover specialties you do not want to miss! See all options right here!

For very active people who still have energy to burn after a day of skiing several options are available! From curling to a guided visit of an alpaca farm to climbing at Backbone Escalade, our beautiful region has a lot to offer to the tireless. Moreover, for thrill-seekers, the new Sutton Skate Café is a must! Open Wednesdays and Saturdays from 4pm, this is one of the only places where you can enjoy a coffee while watching people skateboard on a ramp, or even try it yourself if you’re a skateboarder (ramp access fee).

Finally, several cultural events also take place during the school break week, including presentations at the Salle Alec & Gerard Pelletier. Visit the Sutton Encore website for the full program!

The Sutton area offers many different kinds of activities: snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, fatbiking, art galleries, spas and massages… Check out the activities in the area for more ideas or contact the Sutton Tourism Office directly at 450 538-8455 or 1 800 565-8455.
