Mont SUTTON is part of Mitch Oliver’s creative process when he composes his tracks. A loyal skier to our station since the age of 4, he has just released his new EP Sea to Sky. The first track of the EP, Alpine, is named after one of our ski slopes which is his favorite.

This is not the first of his tracks that honors our ski slopes. In 2021, he titled one of his compositions Alleghanys. His attachment with skiing and Mont SUTTON is visibly present. The mountain is for him a place synonymous with his childhood and many memories, which makes it a common theme in his works. On the cover of his new EP, you can see a picture of Mitch Oliver on our slopes when he was a kid!

In March 2021, the DJ performed at the top of the mountain for the third episode of his Aurora series, called Transcendence. The whole thing was filmed, which offers a striking result, mixing music and nature. You can watch the performance here.
