Your day will start at customer service, where you can pick up your chairlift access card and the BioKit of the Massif des monts Sutton booklet (available while supplies last). We also recommend downloading it online here or printing it at home before your visit.
With your RFID card in hand, head to the chairlift for a peaceful ride to Mont SUTTON’s 680m altitude. During this ride, you can admire spectacular views of the surrounding area and maybe even spot animals like foxes, deer, and more! This chairlift ride is an ideal way to start your exploration, offering you a unique perspective on the region’s natural beauty.

What is the BioKit?
Additionally, you can make the most of your visit with the BioKit of the massif des monts Sutton! This educational booklet, designed for nature lovers of all ages, offers a multitude of interactive and educational activities. It guides visitors through the various ecosystems of the Monts Sutton, highlighting local wildlife and plant species. Whether you are an experienced hiker or a beginner, the BioKit will help you deepen your knowledge while having fun.
The booklet includes detailed descriptive sheets on different species of trees, plants, and animals that can be found on the trails. Note that while an animal like a fox is featured in the booklet, seeing one is not guaranteed. Additionally, observation games and challenges are included to encourage active and playful exploration. Children, in particular, will enjoy drawing activities and collecting samples, turning every walk into an exciting adventure. The booklet also offers detailed maps and itineraries to explore the trails richest in biodiversity. Each path is a new opportunity to discover different aspects of nature, whether it’s wetlands, dense forests, or open meadows.
One of the primary goals of the BioKit is to raise public awareness about the importance of biodiversity conservation. By learning to recognize and respect local species, visitors develop a deeper appreciation for the natural environment and the efforts needed to protect it.
At the Summit!
From the top of the chairlift, you can enjoy the panoramic view just a few steps away or take the trails leading you to the 840m summit. With your BioKit in hand, try to spot and identify various species during your walk. You are sure to have a lot of fun.
If you opt for hiking, you will undoubtedly notice several animal sculptures along the ski trails. These works of art by local artists, commissioned by the Les Arts à la Montagne organization, add a cultural dimension to your visit, transforming each walk into an artistic discovery. The sculptures, harmoniously integrated into the landscape, offer points of reflection and unique photo opportunities. Mont SUTTON is likely the only open-air museum you will visit! Challenge yourself to find and identify each animal sculpture on the mountain!
