WHAT TO DRINK AT THE BAR LE TUCKER THIS SEASON

By  - Published on

After a day on the slopes, what better way to warm up than at Bar Le Tucker for an après-ski in a warm atmosphere?

With the start of the 2019-2020 season, there are some new beers and local products at the bar for beer and local products lovers!

First of all, we welcome a new cider this year ; the Rabaska, a 100% Quebec product, bottled in the city of Mont-Saint-Hilaire.

Also in keeping with the local theme, Bar Le Tucker will offer, newly in draft, the Abenaki microbrewery beer, which comes straight from Auberge Sutton Brouërie. This beer, low in alcohol, has a fruity taste with resinous notes, and memories of melon.  Until December 31st, with every purchase of the Abenaki beer, $1 will go to the Sutton Food Bank as part of the Guignobrew initiative. This project is led by the Sutton Volunteer Center, a non-profit organization which mission is to improve the social fabric of the communities of Sutton and Abercorn by providing services and supporting volunteer action.

In addition, among our new arrivals is a New York beer called Brooklyn Lager, because of its original borough. It is available in draft, as are the Sleeman, Kronembourg 1664 and Carlsberg.

And since we just mentioned it, let’s not forget our major partner: Carlsberg! This year, we acquired a very special beer: the 1883 Carlsberg, and its history is quite surprising;

‘’ the amazing story of an old beer bottle found in the cellars of the old Carlsberg brewery. Through a complicated scientific process, the scientists in the Carlsberg Research Laboratory managed to grow and purify the original Carlsberg yeast from 1883 from the bottle. This yeast gave the beer its name: Carlsberg 1883.’’

Enjoy it this winter in 20 oz or pitcher format, or choose its cousin, the Pilsner Carlsberg, in 12 oz, 20 oz or pitcher format.

Also discover our other new products: Guinness (the real and famous black Irish beer!), IPA Pier Point, Sleeman Light in a can and Carlsberg without alcohol, also in a can.

To conclude, while you’re on your way to Bar Le Tucker, take advantage of our Live Singer Thursdays and Live Music Fridays to get your ears full of music while tasting our products! See the complete program here.

Cheers!
