HELP CLUB DE SKI SUTTON TO WIN $100 000!

It’s official! The Club de ski Sutton is a part of the semi-finals of the Mackenzie Top Peak contest which could allow them to win a grand prize of $100 000. 

 

By reaching the Top 10 of the most invested ski communities, they get a first prize of $2 500, but they still need your help to go further! You have until March 22 to determine by vote the three finalists.

What is the contest Mackenzie Top Peak?

Mackenzie Top Peak is a national competition crowning ”Canada’s Most Involved Ski Community” with a $100,000 cash prize.

 

Ski communities from across Canada must submit an application outlining the projects they wish to achieve with the grand prize and mobilize to collect maximum points through public voting and by doing various challenges that demonstrate their sportsmanship. From these entries, the 10 communities with the most points go on to the semi-finals. So here we are!

 

People now have until March 22 to vote for the Club de ski Sutton and make them reach the Top 3, unveiled on CBS Sports on Saturday March 25 at 6 p.m. Then, a jury will select the winning team according to the number of votes received, but especially according to the overall presentation of their application.

 

 

What are the Club de ski Sutton projects?

There is 5 projects Club de ski Sutton would wish to concretize by winning $100 000. Here are they:

 

1- Establishing a scholarship to facilitate access to skiing for two young people from Sutton, on a five years lap, to help them discover the love of the sport.

 

2- Creating a fund for the development of high potential athletes within elite organizations, where many careers end due to lack of financial resources.

 

3- Donating a substantial amount to the Boulanger-Bédard Foundation, working to the cultural, educational and sportive development of young people from the area.

 

4- Creating a mountain bike park  to rent bike for young cyclists wishing to join the mountain bike club during the summer season.

 

5- Upgrading the training and racing equipment (stopwatches, protective nets and others).
