Gear up for spring skiing

By  - Published on

Many are the spring skiing enthusiasts, and the current season still has many beautiful days on the slopes to offer us! Sunshine is expected this week! Mont SUTTON has announced that it will be open 7 days a week until April 16th inclusively and even a potential additional weekend on April 22nd-23rd if the weather and the conditions allow it!

We want to make sure that you are as well equipped as possible to make the most of these beautiful spring ski days!

It is now time to get rid of your double layer coats and opt for lighter clothes. These lighter garments will keep you dry throughout your ski day and keep you comfortable in the warmer temperatures.

Let’s start with the first layer, for this we recommend merino wool base layers as this material is very breathable and quick drying. Combined, the properties of this material ensure that moisture is evacuated, which will prevent you from getting cold. The Boutique Expérience SUTTON offers a wide variety of Icebreaker base layers that are made of merino wool.

The ski shop also offers several choices of midlayers which are your main ally against the cold. It is usually this piece of garment that you remove and put back on to ensure a good level of comfort in relation to the outside temperature.

Finally, as a last layer, a good windbreaker is in order to shelter you from the wind and rain. This layer is very important to complete your outfit and protect you from the unpredictable spring weather. Several shells will meet your needs and tastes at the Boutique Expérience SUTTON!

If you haven’t figured it out yet, the secret to spring skiing is to wear light and breathable clothing to eliminate as much humidity as possible. That’s why we recommend spring gloves and breathable socks for your hands and feet. And you don’t have to look far, because both products are available in stores right now and they come with a promotion!

The sun is very pleasant on spring ski days, but it can affect your eyes because the snow reflects most of the ultraviolet rays. To get the most out of it, we recommend that you get goggles that are adapted to your sport. The store offers several models of eyewear that are both powerful and comfortable. Among them, Oakley Sutro is the “all-terrain” sunglasses that are comfortable and perform equally well for alpine touring and mountain biking. Several Smith models are also available at the store. The advantage of choosing Smith sunglasses is that they come with two lenses which allows you to change them depending on the light conditions to guarantee an excellent experience!

The Spring Sale is underway at the Boutique Expérience SUTTON. Take advantage of the many discounts in store. Whether it is for spring skiing, summer activities or even the next winter season, it is the time to equip yourself at a low price!
