No car, No problem!
If we told you that you could ski at Mont SUTTON from Sherbrooke, Magog, Chambly, Brossard or Montreal without a car, would you believe us? Well, it’s possible, simple and ecological!
Transport à la Demande (TAD), offered by Limocar, makes your trip easier than ever. Discover our mountain for hassle-free adventure, relaxation and outdoor fun.
How is it possible!?
When you reserve your bus transportation with Limocar, you must select the “additional services” option and add TAD – Brome-Missisquoi to your transportation. When you purchase your Limocar ticket, you pay the TAD fees. Please note that TAD is available to and from Limocar stops. The service allows you to travel from the highway to your destination in the MRC but does not offer direct transportation between different points in the MRC. Then, since you’ve paid in advance, all you must do is book your round-trip, on the dates you want, with the TAD. From the Bromont Autoparc 74 exit, allow about 30 minutes to get to the village or even to the Mont SUTTON ski resort. There are more than 35 departure and arrival points throughout the MRC, if you need to go elsewhere (see the list here). There is a fixed fare for the addition of TAD, either $15 one way or $30 round trip.
You can meet your TAD bus at the stop of your choice. To reserve a minibus, available to users on request, you can either do so online at: limocar.ca/brome-missisquoi, or via the free LINK Transit mobile app, available on Google Play and Apple Store. The app works like a charm: all you have to do is create an account and you’re ready to order transportation. No hidden charges, no extra information, no monthly subscription fees, no cancellation fees up to one hour before departure. You can book up to 7 days before your chosen boarding time and up to 60 minutes before your desired departure time. The service is available from 6 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., 7 days a week.
And once in Sutton?
Once you’ve arrived at your accommodation, getting to and from the mountain is child’s play! The shuttle drivers are dedicated, and the service is free on weekdays during spring break. What’s more, during spring break, with the weekday ski-dodo-ski package, the shuttle picks you up right in the parking lot of your accommodation. You can finish your coffee on the way and be dropped off directly at the entrance to the main chalet. You can see the detailed shuttle schedule on our website montsutton.com/shuttle.
Why take the bus?
Travelling by bus means travelling differently. It requires a little more planning and organization, and allows you to admire the scenery, sleep, read or simply do nothing. Once you’re at your accommodation, you can walk around, talk to passers-by on the street corner, and notice details you would have missed in the car.
