Preparatory training program for Level 1 Certification including observatory internship


The program includes:

  • 6 mandatory hours of lessons during the Christmas Holidays (schedule to be confirmed).
  • 9 training courses starting on the weekend of January 13th (schedule will depend of the supervisor’s attribution).
  • 5 observatory internships in the different Snow School programs during the 9 weekend programs (schedule will depend of the supervisor’s attribution).

The Pre-instructor has the responsibilty to get their season pass or a ticket package (see the School card). At the end of the season, the pre-instructor will receive a per-diem of $10 per internship completed, for up to 5 internships.

  1. Ski tickets are not included in the lesson programs.
  2. The School Card is valid only on weekends from January 5th until March 17, 2019. Present your card at the ticket office to obtain your ski ticket. This card is non transferable.
  3. For all categories, the reference age for the students’ classification is their age on January 1st, 2019.
  4. The agreement form needs to be completed and handed in to the Snow School before the first lesson.
  1. The Snow School may reschedule a group lesson due to unforeseen events. The retake will occur at the end of the program.
  2. Parents are required to check if a lesson has been rescheduled by consulting or by calling at 1-866-538-2545 (option 1) at 6:30 a.m. on the day of the lesson.
  3. Any program may be cancelled due to insufficient enrollment.
  4. No lesson retake or lesson transfer is available for students who miss a lesson.
  5. No reimbursement will be accepted once the program has started.
