A FESTIVE PROGRAMMING AT MONT SUTTON FOR THE FALL
SUTTON, September 11, 2023 – The colors are slowly coming out at Mont SUTTON, bringing in their wake many events for the whole family! Lively autumn weekends at the mountain will allow you to take full advantage of the magnificent scenery, while enjoying some of the best Blues shows around! Highly anticipated events…
Five festive weekends at the Fall Festival
Mont SUTTON Fall Festival is a must to enjoy the beauty of the Eastern Townships while making the most of your weekend. Whether you’re looking for a day in the great outdoors with the family, a romantic getaway or even a solitary moment to recharge your batteries, the mountain’s summer activities continue every weekend from September 16 to October 15!
Although mountain biking and disc golf are available 7 days a week, until November, the weekends of the Fall Festival are the last opportunities of the season to treat yourself with several activities: a descent on a giant zipline, the steepest in Canada, a zipline coaster ride, unique in North America, but also to appreciate the bucolic landscapes of Mont SUTTON during a chairlift ride. Camping at the summit is possible for a few extra dates!
Take advantage of this opportunity to renew your biking or skiing equipment, as incredible offers are available at the Boutique Expérience SUTTON. A 10% discount is also available on all ski passes until September 30! Festive prices for a successful event!
Also on the program for all five weekends: hebertism mini-courses, slackline initiation, local wine tastings and free music to delight everybody! Online programming at montsutton.com/fall
New activities for the whole family
On site, numerous new features will appeal all ages.
For our older guests, two recruitment days, on September 16 and October 14, will give you the opportunity to meet the mountain’s human resources team and discover the ins and outs of working on a mountain in winter. On-site interviews for those interested!
The agenda will be particularly full for our youngest guests on Saturday September 30, Monday October 9 (the mountain is open for Thanksgiving!) and Saturday October 14, with Jessica Adams’ nature workshops: Discover the treasures of Autumn and Forest Essentials.
Not to be missed, every day during the Fall Festival, a 1:30 p.m. departure offers a guided hike to discover a veritable open-air museum, Mont SUTTON, featuring nearly a dozen works of art hidden on the mountain, including the Squirrel, a six-foot-tall piece recently installed. Reservations are strongly encouraged: montsutton.com/guided-hikes
Sutton en Blues returns for a 21st edition
On Saturday, October 14, for the last weekend of the Fall Festival, the 21st edition of the popular Sutton en Blues series kicks off at 8:30 p.m. with a performance by a Quebec legend: Breen Leboeuf, from the legendary band Offenbach, accompanied on stage by the Night Bluemers.
Now in its fourth year at the mountain, the series, under the artistic direction of Productions Kazou, also features the incredible musicians of Bad Luck Woman & Her Misfortunes on October 21, The Tony D. Band with the fabulous guitarist of the award-winning band Monkey Junk on October 28, and the blues sensation and rising star Spencer Mackenzie on November 4 to close the event.
A 4-show Passport is available by phone, in limited quantities, at 1 866 538-2545, ext. 0, for $120 taxes included. An online presale allows you to save on the show at the door at montsutton.com/blues-shows.
Cajun Flavours at Bar Le Tucker
To get the most out of every musical evening of Sutton en Blues, you can add a three-course Cajun dinner to the program, to be enjoyed at Bar Le Tucker before each performance. This opportunity to dine at Mont SUTTON in a New Orleans-inspired setting is the perfect way to get your heart pumping and your mouth watering before the show. Only 80 meals are available per evening, in a Dinner and Show Combo or in a separate purchase. Menu and information at montsutton.com/cajun-meal.
Decidedly, between September 16 and November 4, there will be plenty of opportunities to take a detour by the mountain. An autumn that promises to be full of color, music and flavour!
