A special En Cœur Poutine with “Ils en Fument du Bon” sausages will also be on sale all day and $5 from each sale will be donated to the organization. You can also make a donation by clicking here.
Have fun on the slopes for a good cause
Because physical activity is the best remede for the heart, young and old are invited to come and ski, snowboard or do alpine touring for 6 hours, alone or in teams of 2 to 6 people. The goal is to get active for your health, while raising as much money as possible for children with heart disease and their families! Fundraisings are of course encouraged, but not mandatory. All donations collected can be given to the organization upon arrival at the event.
For kids and adults alike, a heart hunt will also be organized on the slopes! Take part in the search for hearts and spot them for a chance to win prizes!
Why a 6h duration?
Simply because an open-heart operation lasts an average of 6 hours for children with heart disease and the activity is meant to be symbolic and in solidarity with them. Of course, it is not necessary to stay on the slopes during the 6-hour activity! Visit the En Coeur Foundation website to know more about their mission.
