Sutton, May 4th, 2021 – The winter season of 2021 was an atypical one! Thanks to the hard work by all of the industry and the employees of the mountain, it was very gratifying to see it come to fruition on April 10th especially in view of the extraordinary circumstances. It is now time to turn the page and move on to the next chapter, the upcoming summer season, which will have its share of novelty on account of a second phase of major investments. This will begin with the mountain biking season in mid-May, followed by the inauguration, at the end of June, of the much anticipated giant zipline activity.

10 million in investments at the end of phase 2

Following the announcement of a second important phase of investments last March, Mont SUTTON announces with great enthusiasm the first project of this phase to come to fruition, the double zipline. This unique activity in the region and the expansion of the mountain bike trail network is the undeniable mark of Mont SUTTON’s will to diversify and develop its activities offer over four seasons.

By the end of this phase, more than $10M will have been invested in the improvement and development efforts at the mountain. These new investments of $5M by 2023 are in accordance with the strategic development plan and are in addition to the $5M already invested. All the projects will allow Mont SUTTON to enrich and increase the offer with new distinctive outdoor activities as well as to develop, improve and upgrade some existing outdoor infrastructures and equipment, used at the mountain for summer as well as for winter operations.

These projects at Mont SUTTON will increase the notoriety of the mountain, enhance the tourism offer in the region, ensure the attractiveness of the Sutton area and by the same token stimulate the regional economy.
