family looking for a house or chalet for rent in Estrie for june 1, 2026
Hello, we are a family looking for a house or chalet for rent in Estrie. We want to move for june 1, 2026. We are looking for long term (1 year) or medium term (4-5 months), and even short term (1 month).
For medium & long term, (4 months or more) We are looking for a house that is at least partially furnished, or can be fully furnished, as long as there is room to move our stuff - we don't have much furniture (only a single bed, dryer, and cube freezer)- just a lot of boxes and bins. So a house, with dry basement storage, or large closets, etc., would be ideal.
For long term, we are looking for a detached house or chalet in the country side or small towns, that has preferably more than 3 bedrooms, at least 1.5 bathrooms, a wood heating option for the winter (in case of power outages), potable water that is sourced from a well. Also a garage or car-shelter, would be a bonus!
For medium term, (june-september months) we could forgo the wood-heating option.
For short term (1 month, june 1-july 1) we are very flexible - a furnished, 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom rental, suitable for a family of 5 adults that would give us time to search the area for something more permanent.
We have excellent credit, good references, no pets, non-smoking, we don't party. We are very clean, responsible, and mature.
