Exceptional visit and MTB new features at the Fall Festival for the long weekend!
SUTTON, October 8, 2025 – With beautiful days ahead and colors soon reaching their peak in the Eastern Townships, now is the perfect time to plan the long weekend at the Mont SUTTON Fall Festival, which offers a variety of activities and workshops for the whole family. Among the many attractions, don’t miss an exceptional visit at the mountain on Monday, October 13!
Two more colorful weekends at Mont SUTTON
The long Thanksgiving weekend promises three action-packed days at the mountain. With summer activities still underway, hiking, pop & jazz concerts, crafts, local wine tastings, mountain sculpture tours, yoga at the 680 m summit and more, much await visitors of all ages.
Exceptionally, the festival will continue on Monday, October 13, and will welcome renowned photographer Bernard Brault, known among other things for having covered 14 Olympic Games. The distinguished artist will give a 30-minute conference at Bar Le Tucker at 9:30 a.m., followed by a photo workshop in the great outdoors, at the mountain, for the lucky ones who will have registered online!
Then, Saturday, October 18 & Sunday, October 19 will mark the last opportunity of the season to experience the giant zipline and the opening of the chairlift, for a walk or MTB lift rides! During this last weekend of the Fall Festival, a RV Expo Day and an introductory DJ workshop will be offered on Saturday, while artist Lysanne Sabourin will offer a jewelry-making workshop on Sunday.
Camping at a 840 m altitude
Sunday, October 19 will also be the last day of the season to book a night of camping at the summit, at an altitude of 840 m. A few spots are still available on Friday evenings, allowing adventurers to wake up surrounded by nature and the Fall Festival! In addition, the service is available seven days a week until that date, with meal options also available to lighten campers’ luggage. Delicious salmon fillets, veal flank steak, chicken brochettes, burgers, not to mention side dishes and vegetarian options, are on the menu at the summit!
Mountain Bike & Disc Golf 7 days a week
Although the Fall Festival ends on Sunday, October 19, the mountain biking season, and disc golf one, will continue until November, while Mother Nature will confirm the closing date for the network developed and maintained by Plein air Sutton / MTB.
On that front, there are still some big developments to come. This Friday, October 10, two inaugurations will take place on the network. An expert module, a collaboration between Mont SUTTON, Plein air Sutton / MTB, and Martin Demers, is aimed at the most experienced riders, being classified as double black.
This module, a classic Tucker Sno-Cat conversion, includes an approach line, a step up with a pit, a 4.5 m walkway, and a 2 m drop.
A new intermediate-level learning trail will also be open for the weekend! This addition was made possible thanks to the combined programs of PAFIRSPA (Programme d’aide financière aux infrastructures récréatives, sportives et de plein air meaning Financial Assistance Program for Recreational, Sports, and Outdoor Infrastructures) from the ministère de l’Éducation and Plan Montagne from the ministère du Tourisme.
This 800-meter freestyle downhill trail was built jointly by the craftsmen of Sentiers de l’Est and Wolf Bike Park. The goal was to create a trail that would allow users to learn different types of modules in a safe, controlled, and repetitive environment, enabling them to progress and acquire new skills.
It features seven table tops, one step up, two drops, and one step down. The 400-meter climb leading to this new trail was built by the Plein air Sutton / MTB team.
Until the end of the season, the trail builders will be blowing leaves every Thursday and Friday to maximize the quality of the network’s trails every weekend!
