A VALENTINE’S DAY ON THE SLOPES

SUTTON, February 6, 2024 – With the ski terrain 100% open, the slopes at their best and Valentine’s Day on the horizon, it’s the perfect time to celebrate love at the mountain. Mont SUTTON is preparing five days of sweet activities to enjoy with your loved ones.

Special activities all week long

From Wednesday, February 14 to Sunday, February 18, some lucky guests will be able to ride in one of our two red cushioned chairs on chairlift II, for a comfortable ascent. Who knows, an exceptional encounter could take place on these love chairs!

At the Bar Le Tucker après-ski, Pasquinel will host the always festive Open Mic Thursday, on February 15 from 4 to 7 p.m. Don’t miss the 70¢ chicken wings! Friday Music will be country and sunny with Karine Perreault on February 16, and on Saturday, February 17, DJ Caillou will be on site from 3 to 9 p.m. for an electrifying time. Will romance be in the air?

Last but not least, the traditional Heart Hunt returns in an improved version on Saturday, February 17! This year, it will be organized by the Sutton En Coeur team. Dozens of red hearts will be hidden along the slopes just waiting to be found! Those interested should visit the Sutton En Coeur table to start the hunt!

For sports fans, the Sundays around this special week will be particularly interesting. On February 11, Bar Le Tucker will present its very first Super Bowl, with an après-ski featuring an exceptional food menu and tempting discounts. Three screens will be available for the party! Then, on February 18, there will be a free demo of Atomic skis. Fans are expected at the base of chairlift II, on the terrace of the Boutique Expérience SUTTON, which will be offering a 20% discount on all the products of the brand for the entire weekend.

A cause that goes straight to the heart

February 14 isn’t just Valentine’s Day; it’s also Congenital Heart Defect Awareness Day. Mont SUTTON is honoured to partner once again with the Fondation En Coeur to host the second edition of Sutton En Coeur, on Saturday, February 17. The week of love will end to this event, which aims to support children with heart disease and their families, while raising public awareness of heart health.

On February 17, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., skiers, snowboarders and alpine touring fans are invited to get active on the slopes for six hours. This duration was not randomly chosen: it symbolizes the average duration of open-heart surgery. Those wishing to take part must register, alone or in a team, before Wednesday, February 14, at 8 p.m. on the Fondation En Coeur website at bit.ly/registration_encoeur.

Participants will also have access to an exclusive après-ski with DJ and door prizes in the main room of the Chalet Alt. 400 m. Fundraising is encouraged, but not mandatory. Donations can be made directly to the organization on the day of the event. An awareness-raising kiosk will be set up at the foot of the slopes. A special En Coeur sausage poutine will be sold all day long. For each sale, $5 will be donated to the foundation.

Spend time with the loved one

Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday low price promotion will allow lovers to enjoy the slopes and the mountain’s magical panorama for just $49 + tax, until February 15, by buying their ticket online at least the day before their visit.

The Ski and Stay package is also perfect for mountain lovers and their significant other to enjoy a memorable moment of relaxation and pleasure. Five nearby lodgings offer an overnight stay from Monday to Thursday, the breakfast, and a day and a half of skiing on weekdays, at special rate. Each of these picturesque locations has a unique touch: a gourmet bistro, a fireplace, a spa, an indoor pool or a microbrewery. Romantic, sought-after experiences!

Finally, whether it is with a lover, all the family or with friends, Mont SUTTON is sure to have an activity to delight everyone during this special week. More details on the events at montsutton.com/valentinesday.
