Team report

Friday, March 27

We are open, although Mother Nature is giving us a hard time this morning. Yesterday we really enjoyed the mild temperature, the sun, and the fresh snow, and it was only at the end of the day that the rain arrived and continued into the night.

Today, snow is forecast, and the temperatures are more wintry, with the surfaces frozen.

On the agenda today: Lifts II and IIo will be in operation.

The main runs scheduled for this morning: Mohawk, Sutton-Ik, Alouette, Cascade, and Cendrillon on man-made   snow.

We are waiting for the grooming crews to begin work now that the surfaces are frozen, thus offering you the best conditions. This has been done

Everything should be ready for opening day, or a phased opening if necessary.

Conditions:  Granular snow on a hardened base, and patches of ice are possible. The snowpack remains very good.

Following the patrol’s rounds,   11 more  trails have been added to sector  I, Io  (mostly on natural snow).    Despite the hardened surfaces this morning,  your turns will be smoother with good grip.

Remember to keep your edges sharp and everyting will be fine

The temperature at 5:00 a.m. was -5°C with light snow and wind. The sun might come out later.

Have a good day.

Chalet Altitude 400 m (the main chalet) is open and serving meals, while Chalet Altitude 840 m is open for meals on weekends (including the Easter Holiday) and operates as a mountain hut on weekdays.

The alpine touring trails are all open.  Changes are possibleStay tune  See the trail map, schedules and link to purchase passes and tickets at montsutton.com/alpinetouring
