SUTTON, June 18, 2025 – This Saturday, June 21, Mont SUTTON kicks off its summer season in style with the opening of its chairlift (for hikers and MTB fans), its two unique ziplines, and its first RV Expo Day!

 

A BIG PARTY TO LAUNCH THE SUMMER

This Saturday, June 21, starting at 10 a.m., everyone is invited to come to the mountain and celebrate the arrival of summer, young and old alike, not forgetting four-legged companions (on leashes and off mountain bike trails). On program: A wide range of activities and entertainment for all to enjoy.

 

  • Chairlift open at 10 a.m. especially for the day

 

  • Mountain bikers can finally enjoy Enduro lift rides

 

  • Ribs special at Cube-IK outdoor restaurant

 

  • Launch of the new summer menu with a healthy and original concept to discover

 

  • The Giant Zipline and Zipline Coaster are back in service!

 

  • Bar Le Tucker’s new terrace features a beer special

 

  • Live DJs outdoor from 3 p.m.

 

  • RV Expo Day with a selection of recreational vehicles for on-site viewing

 

  • Summer sale at Boutique Expérience SUTTON. Discounts and new products to see.

 

  • Oculus virtual reality experience with Lumii Solutions to win Airpods4 and a JBL Go 4 portable Bluetooth speaker.

In addition to these exclusives and the first openings as a part of this summer party it is also always possible to take a hike to admire the mountain sculptures, play disc golf or ride the Plein air Sutton / MTB trails!

 

COME FOR THE DAY; STAY FOR THE NIGHT

For this occasion only, overnight stays in a Van or RV will be free at Mont SUTTON on Saturday, June 21. Online reservations are required, and the usual rules and regulations must be observed.

 

All types of vans, recreational vehicles and trailers without generators are welcome. Vehicles up to a maximum of 18 feet are accepted in P2C, P5C and P5D, and up to 30 feet is possible in P3B.

 

For the adventurous, camping sites at the summit are still available for the weekend. Magical sunsets and incredible panoramas are always at the rendez-vous. It’s recommended to book early to be sure to have access to this popular getaway. Some periods fill up quickly (Perseids, autumn and its colors…)!

 

WHAT ABOUT SOME NEW STUFF

New seasons always bring with them a few new features, and Mont SUTTON will be offering some of them starting this weekend.

 

  • The chairlift will now close at 5 p.m., an hour later, to make the most of afternoons in the great outdoors!

 

  • The ziplines will also be open an hour later, with departures offered until 5 p.m.

 

  • A game of Hunt and Seek invites young and old alike to enjoy the trails near the top of Chairlift II, and spot hidden animals.

 

  • Musical events (DJs on MTB Fridays and Musical Saturdays from July 12) will now take place on the new terrace of the Bar Le Tucker, which will be open for these occasions to enhance customer service.

 

  • As of Friday, July 11, the popular MTB Fridays are back, with an extended schedule and the chairlift opening until 8 p.m.! This must for MTB enthusiasts returns with chicken wings at 70¢ each, musical entertainment from talented DJs and even more discounts on Enduro Packages and Lift Rides, with the possibility of unlimited lift rides between 4 p.m. and 8 p.m.

 

MTB fans may already have noticed the new ends on French Kiss and Chasseur trails. By the end of the season, a new intermediate progression trail will be inaugurated, the logical continuation of the Aweille en l’air beginner trail. This is one of three new trails to be developed over the next two years in connection with the Plan Montagne and PAFIRSPA grants awarded to Plein air Sutton / MTB, the organization in charge of developing, managing and maintaining the Mont SUTTON network.

 

A promotion back this summer, visitors can save on their Enduro and Enduro Packages or Lift Rides, as well as on their Chairlift Rides, by booking online for a fixed date, no later than the day before their visit.

 

AND A CLUB FOR YOUNGSTERS

This summer, the Mont SUTTON Mountain Bike School is taking over the reins of the Sutton’s MTB Club, and a program of 6 Saturdays, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., is being offered to youngsters aged 8 to 16. Children and teenagers who are autonomous on their bikes and have their own equipment are invited to come and ride at Mont SUTTON from July 5 to August 23. Interested parents must register their children with the Mountain Bike School directly, at 1 866 538-2545, option 2, or by e-mail at ecole@montsutton.com by Sunday, June 29 at 4 p.m. No need to live in Sutton to register!

 

For all ages, until October 19, the Mountain Bike School also offers private lessons, initiation packages and guide services! Junior, dual-suspension and electric mountain bike rentals are also available at the Rental Center. Everything people might need to get comfortable on the Plein air Sutton / MTB mountain bike network and discover all its secrets.
