Rossignol bindings have always been nothing more than rebranded LOOK bindings… And when we learned that Rossignol was bringing back the LOOK brand across the board we were elated. We’re happy to see the venerable French binding company back at SUTTON with its great designs and technologies, such as their WTR (Walk to Ride) toe piece design and the famous Pivot heel design providing ease of use and the legendary compact-mount footprint that many swear by.

Designed and manufactured in Stowe, Vermont, Knee bindings are quite simply the safest bindings on the market. We particularly appreciate the customizable ramp angles and the nice stack heights of these innovative bindings which make any wide ski feel narrower on the hard stuff. Very much worth a look.

One of the original ski brands and a pioneer in the ski binding business, Marker’s continued innovation is a main reason behind why we carry their products. Among their many technologies, we particularly like their game-changing and highly underrated Schizo family of bindings. This unique design enables you to fine-tune your fore-aft position on any ski, allowing you to fully customize your experience.

Fischer and Tyrolia bindings are exactly the same, except for slight changes in names and graphics. Tyrolia is an innovative binding company that harks back to 1928 and has a long history of producing some of the best bindings in the world. Many companies turn to Tyrolia to build their bindings for good reason: their legendary commitment to safety, performance and engineering.

Practically synonymous with racing, Leki’s poles are a big deal for us. Their patented Trigger system eliminates fiddling with your ski pole straps and instead allows you to focus on skiing. Add to that their high quality carbon and aluminum shafts and you have what some may call the best poles on the market.

Back Country Access is a core company focused on making certain you’re not only going to enjoy the backcountry, but that you’ll survive it if things go bad. BCA offers a complete line of high quality transceivers, shovels, probes, radios, poles, and climbing skins for those who like being prepared. We particularly like their telescopic poles that offer tried-and-true locking technologies and quality grips and shafts.

Excellent ski poles at a reasonable price. We’re particularly fond of their racing poles as well as their superb graphite poles that offer an incomparable bang for your buck. Add to that Rossignol’s reputation and you can’t really go wrong.

Norwegians know their ski poles, and Swix produces some of the best poles in the world. Their research and development is the cornerstone for every product they produce. Our favorite is their top-of-the-line Wing design that uses composite materials based on IPM technology (Internal Pressure Molding). With its awesome DD4 handle and their patented Swix ADD Tab system, these poles have an amazing feel and superb swing weight. It’s quite simply the ultimate pole for the skier that wants the best.

In 1959, in Sun Valley, Idaho, Ed Scott invented the tapered shaft, lightweight aluminum ski pole, and the sport was changed forever. Scott uses the strongest commercially available aircraft-grade aluminum (S2, S3, and S4) for their poles. With strength twice as strong as that of the industry standard, Scott poles are the most durable on the market.

Famous for their affordable, flashy colored poles, Volkl produces poles with the same exacting performance standards as their skis, which ensures that the cool pair of Volkl poles that caught your eye will not only look good but offer you a great product for years to come.
