SUTTON, June 12, 2023 – With the full opening of Mont SUTTON’s summer activities approaching on Friday, June 23, adventure and outdoor enthusiasts are invited to book their zipline descent now! Perfect for those seeking new experiences to enjoy summer days!

A giant zipline, the most inclined in Canada

Proud of its four-season turn, Mont SUTTON inaugurated a giant zipline in 2021, cementing the mountain’s annual vitality. Starting at an altitude of 680 metres, the zipline has a total length of 1,400 metres, divided in two descents. More over, it is the most inclined zipline in Canada, with a first major descent of one kilometer reaching up to 100 km/h. The whole experience lasts around 1 hour and 45 minutes, beginning with a chairlift ride to fully appreciate the panorama. Details can be found at montsutton.com/giant-zipline.

A zipline coaster, a first in North America

To guarantee the thrills, a second zipline, with curves, was inaugurated mid-season in 2022. A first of its kind in North America, it is a real rollercoaster featuring a series of breathtaking turns, drops and loops. The 655-metre descent through the mountain’s famous forest is well worth the detour! All information is available at montsutton.com/zipline-coaster.

A combo to save money

Now available from the start of the season: the opportunity to double the excitement and get the desired adrenalin rush with the combo, allowing the experience of both activities on the same day. Opting for the combo offers a non-negligible saving of $24! Purchasing online allows the visitors to choose their preferred time slot after selecting the date of the visit. Information is available online at montsutton.com/zipline-combo.

Even more outdoor fun

While the chairlift ride is included with the giant zipline descent, separate tickets are also available to marvel at this view of the region. Another original activity to experience on site! Note that a discount is applied to online transactions made a minimum of 24 hours in advance.

To end a perfect day at Mont SUTTON, discovering disc golf, an amalgam of ultimate Frisbee and golf on an 18-hole wooded course, or taking a hike to admire the sculptures of local artists is a must! And there is no need to pack a lunch, with the tempting menu of Cube-IK restaurant at the foot of the slopes. Visiting on a Saturday? A festive atmosphere awaits you with Musical Saturdays, offering free outdoor shows between 3 and 6 p.m.

On the other hand, sports enthusiasts may prefer to try out the 45 km mountain bike network developed by Plein air Sutton / MTB. Over 35 enduro and cross-country trails are available, from beginner to expert level, with the possibility of maximizing descents with an Enduro package, giving one or two chairlift rides.

And if one day is not enough to try it all, it is possible to spend the night at the summit, at an altitude of 840 metres, with the rustic camping for which access is only available by foot. Everybody should discover this breathtaking view of the Eastern Townships! Don’t forget to make a reservation and to bring a tent! It is also possible to spend a night at Mont SUTTON in an RV in one of the designated parkings, for a minimal fee and in a safe environment. These overnight stays are self-sufficient.
