LETTING LOOSE AT THE MOUNTAIN ON SCHOOL BREAK
SUTTON, February 24, 2026 – With winter in full swing and spring break just around the corner, Mont SUTTON has put together a wide variety of activities for exceptional family moments on the slopes… not to mention après-ski!
Activities, Retro Day, and Contests for Everyone
Among the exciting programming awaiting visitors from February 28 to March 8 (Quebec break) and March 14 to 22 (Ontario break) highlights include ski camps for children ages 6 to 13 from Monday to Thursday, a treasure hunt on the slopes, a DJing workshop on Tuesdays to introduce young and old to the art of mixing and music production with XLTRAX Academy, Karaoke Wednesdays in addition to Open Mic Thursdays, Live Music Fridays and DJ Saturdays, a SKIentific activity to make your own ice cream on Thursdays, and friendly competitions in the snow park with a free BBQ and prizes to be won for visitors. In addition, the outdoor restaurant Cube-IK is also open from Thursday to Saturday, offering exclusive hot dogs with international flavors!
A special day not to be missed is the Retro Day on Saturday, March 7, when Mont SUTTON’s 65th anniversary will be celebrated with a vintage-themed day, while visitors are invited to dress in retro fashion on the slopes and enjoy the on-site photobooth!
In addition to the weekly #PurementSUTTON contest running until the end of the season, three other contests are being announced as part of this retro day on March 7! Gift cards worth $200 and rides on the Tucker Snowcat are up for grabs. To participate, interested parties are invited to visit the activity page at https://montsutton.com/retro-day.
More skiing and savings
In addition to free access to a Fun Trail on the Cascade slope and a geocaching course with access to the mountain, there are several attractive savings options available.
For beginners, introductory packages including a 1.5-hour lesson, day access to the Family Zone, and equipment rental are available for skiing, snowboarding, snowscooting, and telemark skiing.
Another great, inexpensive, and original way to enjoy the slopes is to rent a Yooner, a small snow kart with a seat 20 cm above the ground, accessible to children ages 8 and up, allowing families to explore the slopes accessible by chairlift II for two hours.
And, while skiing is always free for children aged 0-5, access to the magic carpet costs only $26 + tax for a Family Zone ticket (Chairlift IIw), or $31 + tax for a second ticket to Chairlifts I or III (allowing access to the snow park). As for the last hour of skiing, it is accessible with a ticket for only $20 + tax, giving access to the entire ski area!
Ski-And-Stay at the best rate
To make the most of the mountain and enjoy it to the fullest, several partner accommodations in the surrounding area offer the Ski-And-Stay Package on weekdays, starting at $129 + taxes per person (double occupancy), including overnight accommodation, breakfast, and 1.5 days of skiing at Mont SUTTON. These packages are also available for 2 nights and 2.5 days of skiing!
Overnight stays in recreational vehicles are also available at the mountain for direct access to the slopes as soon as they open! Full details of upcoming activities and available promotions are online at montsutton.com.
