Trying on boots during a hike with Baffin x SAIL x Routes to Rootz

As part of Mont SUTTON’s Fall Festival, join us on Saturday, October 18, 2025, for an exceptional community hike organized by Baffin, SAIL, and Routes to Rootz, to celebrate the launch of Baffin’s new Terrain collection. This free event is a great opportunity to try out new hiking boots, meet other outdoor enthusiasts, and enjoy a special moment in nature.

 

 

The hike will begin at 11:00 a.m. from the Baffin tent. It is recommended to arrive by 10:30 a.m. to ensure an on-time departure and avoid delays.

 

 

Baffin is offering participants the chance to test the new Terrain collection directly on the trails. A full boot fitting will be offered before the hike. It is an excellent opportunity to discover your next hiking gear. The activity will take the form of an easy to moderate hike, guided by Connor Emeny, on the ALT 680 trail (3 km, approximately 2 hours). It is accessible to all and offers a perfect setting to connect with others and explore the area in a friendly atmosphere.

 

 

The try-on continues on Sunday, October 19, this time without an organized group hike. However, it will still be possible to try out the models and find the pair that suits you best by walking the trails of Mont SUTTON.

 

 

**Please note that it is important to bring layered clothing, water, personal snacks, sturdy hiking boots, and, if desired, trekking poles. Lunch can be bought at the SUTTON outside restaurant.

 

 

Free transportation is also available for participants coming from Montreal on Saturday, with registration required and space limited to 40 people. Departure will be from the Gare d’autocars de Montréal, located at 1717 Berri Street, Montreal, QC H2L 0B1. Participants are expected at 8:00 a.m. for a scheduled departure at 8:30 a.m. sharp. The return from Mont Sutton is planned for 3:00 p.m.
