Call for Proposals; Creation of a Temporary Artwork
Mont SUTTON x DesPrés

Mont SUTTON & DesPrés are joining forces to further develop the project of the Sculptures on the mountain (Les Arts à la montagne).
A first Call for Proposals is therefore being launched for the creation of a temporary — or “ephemeral”— artwork to be installed along the edges of the mountain’s trails and paths.
This artwork, which will be installed along the trails of Mont SUTTON starting in late August 2026, is intended to interact with the mountain landscape and is designed to remain in place for approximately one year.
Professional artists and artist collectives from the Estrie region are invited to submit proposals that engage with the local landscape, materials, and the experience of hiking and skiing at the mountain.
The Call for Proposals will remain open until Monday, June 1. All the details & terms are online on DesPrés website here (french only).
To submit their applications, artists must complete the form on our partner’s website (french only) by the specified deadline. A jury will then select the winning installation and contact the chosen artist.
