Team report

It’s great to have had such a nice dusting of snow over the past 48 hours, bringing us a total of 12 to 14 cm that’s sticking well to the existing snowpack.

An interesting day awaits you with mild temperatures and a mix of sun and clouds expected to be part of the forecast.   Plus, early risers will be able to take advantage of the fresh snow to carve out a few runs, since 8 to 9 cm fell after the resort closed yesterday.

The lifts scheduled to run today are as follows, starting at 8:30 a.m. according to the regular schedule:

I, IIo, II, IV, VII, and the magic carpet will give you access to 28 trails, including a few in the glades.

The teams worked on the main trails last night, and they’re finishing up this morning on the trails in Sector II. About fifteen trails

So the conditions should please you and keep you entertained.

Conditions will vary depending on the trail.  Man-made snow.  A layer of fresh, almost powdery snow—a mix of powdery and granular snow—and some frozen  granular snow.  The base remains firm to hard, and a few patches of ice may resurface here and there.    On the few natural snow and glade runs, you’ll still need to be careful, as areas that were previously exposed are now hidden by the layer of new snow.

Changes are always possible after the patrol’s rounds

The chalets open are Altitude 400 (main chalet) and Altitude 840 with food service.

When you arrive, check the daily report, which will tell you which trails have been groomed. And be sure to check back on this conditions page for trail reopenings and snow updates throughout the day and the weekend… on the mountain, skiing conditions will only get better and better!

Alpine Touring: The East trail is open. The other AT trails could open after the patrol’s inspection. See the trail map, schedules and link to purchase passes and tickets at montsutton.com/alpinetouring
