Sutton Inferno Trail 2026
From May 09 2026 to May 10 2026
Mont SUTTON will host the third edition of the Sutton Inferno Trail on Saturday, May 9, starting at 10 am!
The Sutton Inferno Trail is a unique sporting event focused on endurance, self-transcendence and conviviality. Organized in teams of up to three, the aim is to complete the greatest number of laps of a demanding, technical loop in the allotted time. The formula emphasizes self-sufficiency, mutual aid and the community spirit typical of trail running.
OBJECTIVES🏆
- To offer a sporting challenge accessible to all levels, while maintaining healthy competition.
- To showcase Mont Sutton’s natural heritage through sport.
- To create a sustainable, fun and recurring event rooted in local life.
- Raise funds for the Fondation Boulanger-Bédard, which supports the sports and artistic development of young people in the region.
INFERNO CONCEPT🔥
- One loop = 6.5 km (450D+) = 1 point
- 5h to accumulate max points per team (10 am – 3 pm)
- 3 runners max per team – free strategy – all levels welcome
- Possibility of running alone or in a duo, but less chance of accumulating points
- Mandatory validation at the base camp checkpoint after each lap (each runner. euse validates her own lap)
- Surprise partner x Strava challenges will also be included 🤪
- A race meal will be provided (vegetarian or meat options available)
- Every member of your team will receive a race bib this year!
FINAL: TOP 10🌶️
- 3:30 pm – 4:30 pm: Final loop for the top 10 teams
- Free choice: run with 3 or send a single runner for the final loop
- All or nothing: if only one runner leaves, the others must stay at base camp
- First person to cross the line wins their team and they win the Inferno 2026
- Advantage of 3 per team? More chances of winning and more Caliente

- Race meal and post-race beer included in registration
- Podium ceremony and partner awards at 5:00 PM
- Post-race party at Tucker to celebrate this exciting day with happy hour.
