SUTTON, October 11, 2023 – The countdown begins since Sutton en Blues 21st edition starts in only 3 little days at Mont SUTTON. And this edition kicks off strong with a real Quebec icon, the bassist of the legendary band OFFENBACHBreen Leboeuf, on stage with the Night Bluemers, this Saturday, October 14, from 8:30 p.m.

Four exceptional evenings on the program

Since it’s already easy to project ourself dancing to the sound of Blues, Rock and Folk notes on the opening night on October 14 with the well-known artist Breen Leboeuf, the presence of old-timers Night Bluemers ensures a frenzied musical performance that will live long in the memory.

On October 21st, audiences are invited to meet the quartet Bad Luck Woman & Her Misfortunes, lead by the charismatic Raha Javanfar (the only female voice in the series!). A promised incursion into the forgotten songs of the great Blues ladies of the 50s and 60s, such as Carmen Taylor, Ella Johnson and Big Maybelle, for a magical moment.

On October 28, the exceptional guitarist of the award-winning band MonkeyJunk, Tony D., takes to the stage with The Tony D. Band, for a Blues cocktail heavily influenced by the haunted sound of the Mississippi Delta and the raw-urban sound of Chicago Blues. An electrifying evening guaranteed!

To close the series, rising Blues star Spencer Mackenzie will deliver a show that will be etched in everyone’s mind on November 4. This young man, inhabited by the old soul of an American Deep South Bluesman, is a masterful guitarist who leaves everyone breathless. A bewitching artist to discover!

To attend the four performances, a 4-show Passport is available for $120 taxes included by phone only: 1 866 538-2545, ext. 0. Tickets and more details at montsutton.com/en/blues.

Spend your evening in New Orleans

An unusual premise to every show is offered at the Bar Le Tucker (at the Main Venue’s 2nd floor) with a three-course Cajun Dinner option to perfectly begin your evening. This unique occasion to dine at Mont SUTTON is the greatest way to travel to Bourbon St. and immerse yourself in the Blues spirit of the 8:30 p.m. performances! In a Dinner and Show Combo for the best offer or to buy separately, the original menu makes every mouth drool. Full offer available at montsutton.com/cajun-meal!
