Team report

Good Thursday on the slopes

SUPERB CONDITIONS. Milder weather for the next few days and all weekend.  And it starts today.  So join us for some quiet mid-week turns. That’s what Mont Sutton has to offer, with an area to ride like no other.   Each of your descents will be different.   Our ambassador guides can help you make the most of it if it’s your first visit.

During winter peaks, Mont SUTTON is proud to participate in the power demand management protocol by reducing electricity consumption on chairlifts II and IV, as requested by Hydro-Québec. Therefore, schedule of the chairlifts today:

I : 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Magic carpet: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
IIw: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
II: 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
IV: 9:30 am to 3:30 p.m.
VII: 9:30 to noon

Conditions:

Grooming work on several trails was done yesterday, last night and again this morning. Guaranteed fun for all

Groomed and granular   snow on firm to hard bases on the steepest parts of the trails.

In the glades and on the natural snow runs, you’ll find different, very pleasant textures. Skied snow, deeper snow in places and bumpy surfaces on almost complete coverage.  Keeping an eye out

Snowmaking continues this morning in ABC (snow park) Access 4 to 2, and a portion in the Alleghanys

Some trail segments may remain closed in order to complete snowmaking and spreading.

Changes are still possible after the patrol tour

The temperature observed on the mountain at 5 a.m.  was  -13 under cloudy skies and a few flakes is already showing, and light snow is expected throughout the day.

The trails that have been groomed are posted on the daily report at the main chalet. Take a look

Chalet 400m and Chalet 840m are open with food & beverages service.

The alpine touring trails are all open!
