On November 22 2026
Skiers, if you missed the documentary Premières Traces (First Tracks) directed by Étienne Benoît, which premiered at the Knowlton Film Festival last summer, don’t miss it again!
The documentary’s FIRST FREE SCREENING, in Sutton, will take place at the Sutton School of Art, 79 Principale Sud, as part of th Mémoires en Fête event, presented on November 21 and 22 by Heritage Sutton, Sutton’s Historical Society. The documentary Premières Traces will be screened FREE of charge on Sunday, November 22, at 2:30 p.m.
This fifth edition of Mémoires en Fête highlights the history of skiing in Sutton, in all its forms, and its impact on our community. Did you know that skiing has been practiced here long before the opening of Mont SUTTON?
The exhibition is free, and includes rare and antique ski equipment. You’ll also have the opportunity to identify the people in a selection of our historical photos. Perhaps you’ll recognize friends or even… yourself?
Heritage Sutton will also be launching a special edition of its History Sketchbook focusing on the history of skiing in Sutton.
