Free live shows at Mont SUTTON
Musical Saturdays and Jazz Sundays are back during Fall Festival!
SUTTON, September 20th 2022 – Because it softens people’s hearts and gets them in the mood to celebrate, music is an important part of the Fall Festival. Outdoor shows, always 100% free and family-friendly, are held at the foot of the slopes, near the Cube-IK restaurant, behind the main chalet, every Saturdays and Sundays until October 16th, including Thanksgiving long weekend.
Free musical experiences every weekend
Mont SUTTON welcomes the headliner of the Musical Saturdays, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. every week, this Saturday September 24th, as Édouard Lagacé, alumni of music reality shows Star Académie 2022 and The Voice Qc 2018, will hit the stage. This native from Cowansville will be back on Monday 10th, as the musical act for the Thanksgiving holiday while Mont SUTTON will be open especially for the occasion.
Local artists Pasquinel et JF (Oct. 1st), Afterglow (Oct. 8th) and Pierre-Luc Belval (Oct. 15th) will also perform as a part of the programming.
As for Sundays, they are not to be outdone, since Jazz performances are offered in collaboration with Sutton Jazz. Be sure to be there for from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. for Honeysuckle Sisters (Sept. 25th), Homebrew Dixieland Band (Oct. 2nd), Almut Ellinghaus Ensemble (Oct. 9th) and Prud’homme, Sela and Hynes Trio (Oct. 16th). The perfect way to get ready for Sutton en Blues which will delight you, starting October 22nd!
A great variety of activities
Moreover, several activities are offered from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. during the Fall Festival at Mont SUTTON. For thrill-seekers, you have the perfect opportunity to try one of the two ziplines, including the brand new zipline coaster inaugurated this summer. The disc golf course is also open, as is the chairlift ride. Mountain bikers and nature lovers can of course enjoy the beauty of the colourful landscape on the trails.
