Awareness Campaign on Respecting our Trails
In collaboration with the Parc d’environnement naturel de Sutton (PENS), Plein air Sutton, Mont Sutton and the Town of Sutton, Tourisme Sutton has launched an advertising campaign on social networks that will broadcast, from May 21 to June 4, five videos encouraging outdoor enthusiasts to respect our trails (hiking and mountain biking).
At last, the thaw is over and the trails are open again. And with good weather comes the resumption of many outdoor activities! The aim of this campaign is to remind you of a few Leave No Trace principles to apply when visiting the trails of Mont Sutton, Plein air Sutton / MTB, the Parc d’environnement naturel de Sutton and the Town of Sutton to minimize your ecological impact and make the most of your outdoor adventure.
Taken from the Sans trace à Sutton video produced by Sutton Tourism, the five video clips humorously appeal to the civic and ecological conscience of hikers and mountain bikers:
1. By keeping our dogs on a leash on trails where they are allowed.
2. By staying on the trails so as not to harm the fauna or damage the flora.
3. By bringing back our garbage so as not to pollute the area.
4. By leaving room for the sounds of nature, so as not to create a noise nuisance.
5. By sharing the trail in a courteous manner.

Let’s make Sutton a sustainable and responsible 4-season outdoor destination!
We thank you for your cooperation and invite you to make the most out of summer!
