A new platform is making it easier to get around the region using public transit, with a gradual rollout across eight regional municipalities in the Eastern Townships, with the goal of eventually expanding throughout the region.<\/p>\n<p>Whether you\u2019re planning a day of skiing with friends or a family getaway in the mountains, find out how this new platform can help you plan your trip.<\/p>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3>Public transit, right at your fingertips<\/h3>\n<p>MOUV brings together various public and adapted transit services on one digital platform. Depending on the area, transportation may be provided by buses or other vehicles, based on available services and demand.<\/p>\n<p>No need to search multiple websites to start planning your trip! You can access MOUV from your smartphone, computer or by phone.<\/p>\n<p>With MOUV, you can:<\/p>\n<ul data-spread=\"false\">\n<li>Browse available public transit services;<\/li>\n<li>Check schedules and stops;<\/li>\n<li>Book regular or occasional trips online;<\/li>\n<li>Purchase transit fares or a convenient monthly pass if you use the service regularly;<\/li>\n<li>Track your vehicle in real time and receive notifications.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The platform is free to use, but fares and service conditions apply to individual trips.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>How does it work?<\/h3>\n<p>Getting started is easy!<\/p>\n<p><strong>1. Download the app or visit the MOUV website.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>2. Create your user profile<\/strong> to access the features available in your area. You can also create family profiles directly in the app, making it easier to manage everyone\u2019s trips from a single account.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Good news for parents!<\/strong> Children aged 6 to 13 can also use the service and travel on their own, provided a parent or legal guardian completes and signs the required consent form. It\u2019s a great way to give them a little more independence while saving parents a few trips back and forth between home, activities and the ski slopes!<\/p>\n<p><strong>3. Enter your destination<\/strong> to see the available transportation options.<\/p>\n<p><strong>4. Check schedules, stops and booking requirements<\/strong>, then reserve your trip when the service allows it.<\/p>\n<p><strong>5.
