This summer marks the 10th season of the Plein air Sutton \/ MTB mountain biking network at<\/strong> Mont SUTTON<\/strong>. The growing recognition of the network\u00a0is no coincidence. Rising attendance, strong enthusiasm, and a multiplication of initiatives all reflect this momentum, driven by the sustained efforts of the non-profit organization (NPO), its trailbuilders, and its volunteers.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Over the seasons, Plein air Sutton \/ MTB has developed a network that strikes a balance between trail diversity and a clearly defined level of challenge. Technical, committed lines, yet thoughtfully designed to remain accessible and progressive for riders of all skill levels. This balance now helps position the network as a must-ride destination, both for seasoned riders and for those looking to discover the sport in a structured and stimulating environment.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The latest must-sees to (re)discover this season<\/h4>\n

This year, there\u2019s plenty to enjoy on the network thanks to the latest updates that impressed you and earned a flood of positive feedback from you last fall. If you haven\u2019t tried them yet, be sure to check out:<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

– The redesign of the Sans Gluten<\/em> climb for a smoother, more gradual ascent, improving accessibility for beginners and ensuring an optimal experience;<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

– The brand-new, ultra-flowy ending to French Kiss<\/em>, winding through a conifer and fern forest reminiscent of Western Canada;<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

– The reroute improving Tiguidou mon minou<\/em> after the Pas l\u2019temps d\u2019niaiser<\/em> intersection;<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

-The reworked transitions from Skimo<\/em> to Tiguidou mon Minou<\/em> and Tiguidou Right Through<\/em>;<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

– The new section with jumps and berms, along with a redesigned ending for the Chasseur<\/em>;<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

– Not forgetting to try out the new Tucker Jumpline<\/em>\u00a0featuring impressive jumps and towering berms, connecting directly to Aweille en l\u2019air<\/em> from Tucker<\/em>.<\/p>\n

In addition, with the two new features from the end of the 2025 season that were already the talk of the town last fall, you\u2019ll definitely want to come ride! First, a brand-new intermediate-level jumpline trail (800 m)<\/strong> designed to help you build confidence. You\u2019ll navigate a series of modules in a safe, repetitive environment\u2014perfect for practice: 7 tables, a step-up, two thresholds, and a drop to mix things up. Next, for those who like things to get a little more intense, a pretty spectacular expert module has been added at the bottom of the Tucker run: an old Tucker Sno-Cat converted into a double-black-diamond challenge<\/strong>, complete with an approach line, a jump with a landing pit, a 4.5-meter bridge, and a 2-meter drop. You can\u2019t miss it\u2026 and it\u2019s definitely not for beginners!<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Also contributing significantly to the network\u2019s growing reputation are the high-quality complementary services offered on the mountain: the Mountain Bike School<\/strong>, the Bike Repair Shop<\/strong>, and the MTB Rental Center<\/strong>. Passionate staff are on hand to guide visitors based on their needs and goals. Introductory programs<\/strong><\/a> including equipment rental are available to support new riders, while experienced visitors discovering Mont SUTTON for the first time can book guides<\/strong><\/a> in advance to make the most of their ride. Multi-week mountain bike camps<\/strong><\/a> are even offered to youth aged 8 to 16 in the spring and fall, allowing them to progress at their own pace and discover the sport with confidence.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

In short, these sustained efforts are clearly paying off firmly establishing Plein air Sutton \/ MTB at Mont SUTTON as one of the season\u2019s must-visit destinations.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Must-Attend Events you won’t want to miss<\/h4>\n

The recognition of your network is also reflected in several upcoming events. Right at the start of the season, from May 16 to 18<\/strong>, a PMBIA training<\/strong>\u00a0will offer the opportunity to earn a Level 1 coaching certification. Then in July<\/strong>, the pan-Canadian camp Into the Gnar<\/strong><\/em><\/a> will make a stop in Sutton \u2014 its only one in Quebec \u2014 featuring renowned riders Yoann Barelli<\/strong> and Nate Spitz<\/strong>. A great nod to the quality of the trails and the area\u2019s unique vibe.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

But what truly makes the network strong is its community. As early as May 9<\/strong>, mountain bike enthusiasts will gather for the first time this season for the Spring Clean Up<\/strong><\/a>, which also marks the official season kickoff on Saturday, May 16<\/strong>. Then, the ever-popular Tuesday Digs return starting June 30<\/strong>: friendly evenings spent lending a hand on the trails\u2026 with great vibes, good company, and even a free pass to ride the next day. A new Wednesday Rides<\/strong> is also added, with poutine on special!<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

A few new additions are also joining the lineup, including a Thursday Girls’ Rides,<\/strong> inviting women riders to get together and enjoy the trails as a group. And the MTB Fridays<\/strong><\/a> are back for a third year, with chairlift opening hours extended until 8 p.m., discounted chicken wings, and a live DJ \u2014 definitely THE nights to add to your calendar!<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Another sign that Sutton is on the rise: the network will host the 4th edition of the Quebec Trailbuilders Conference<\/strong> this fall. A strong recognition that highlights the quality of the work accomplished and the growing enthusiasm surrounding the destination.<\/p>\n

Plenty of great reasons to choose a Season Pass<\/h4>\n

When it comes to passes, the presale is currently on with 10% off until April 30<\/strong><\/a> \u2014 a great way to quickly make the most of your season, especially with so many included or discounted activities<\/strong>. The trail access pass (with or without the Enduro option for chairlift rides) remains the best value to fully enjoy everything, and families will also love the flexible and affordable family option<\/strong>!<\/p>\n

Good news as well<\/strong>: despite the ongoing work for the new quad chairlift, impacts on the mountain biking trails will be minimal. No construction on weekends or holidays \u2014 so you can ride worry-free all season long<\/strong>!<\/p>\n
