Already a 5th edition in 2025 for the MS Mountain Challenge at Mont SUTTON<\/strong>! Born out of Jean-Sylvain Ouellette’s desire (read the portrait of the instigator here<\/a><\/em>) to raise funds to advance research on multiple sclerosis<\/strong>, following his own diagnosis, $110 000<\/strong> is expected to be donated to MS Canada for the cause at the end of the event on Saturday, August 16<\/strong>. This longevity shows how much the community cares about this cause, with over $605,000 raised in four editions so far<\/strong>!<\/p>\n

A new image as a part of this 5th edition<\/h4>\n
\"\"For this 5th edition, a new name and a new image<\/strong> were created to be even more inclusive. The idea behind it was to offer several hiking options of 3.5, 7.1, or 9.2 km<\/strong>, in addition to the traditional distances of 10, 20, or 30 km of mountain biking<\/strong> to be covered solo or with a team<\/strong>, in order to attract an ever-wider and more diverse audience<\/strong>! With its silent auction featuring a variety of lots, musical entertainment, and the Van Life component, there will be something for everyone again this year!<\/div>\n

Karine Bouchard, honorary president<\/h4>\n

Last year, we introduced you to Karine Bouchard, a well-known and beloved figure in the region’s skiing community (see the full article<\/em> here<\/a><\/em>). Completely charmed by her experience last year, following a diagnosis she received in the summer of 2023, she was keen to get more involved this year and is now the honorary president of the 2025 MS Mountain Challenge<\/a>.<\/p>\n
