SUTTON, February 24, 2025<\/strong>\u2013\u00a0While the American neighbors have already begun their spring break, their arrival at Mont SUTTON undeniably confirms what everyone has been saying for some time: skiing conditions have been simply incredible since the beginning of the year, and enjoying winter on the slopes is more attractive than ever.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n More than 5 metres of snow have fallen at the summit since the start of the season (501 cm and still falling at the time of writing), making the current winter the best in the last 5 years, in terms of both precipitation and attendance. Let it be said, however, that this great success and ecstasy on the slopes are also the result of the dedication and passion of the working teams.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n With dedicated teams, Mother Nature’s help and a great programming, the stage is set for successful school breaks and endless outdoor fun, with the mountain offering a special\u00a0school break<\/em>\u00a0program until Monday March 17, as part of the American, Quebec and Ontario holidays still to come.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n With so many activities on the schedule, there’s still time to sign up children aged 3 to 13 for the Ski Week Camps, to maximize their time on the slopes, learning and perfecting their skills, in a 3-half-day format for the little ones, and on four days for older ones.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n For parents, or for family lessons, the all-inclusive Initiations offer, including 1.5 hour private lesson and equipment rental, allows you to enjoy your experience at your own pace and think only of your next descent. Private lessons are also available for rusty skiers or those wishing to deepen their technique.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Sutton Snow School has a wide range of offerings to suit everyone’s needs. Initiation packages are available for skiing and snowboarding of course, as well as snowscoot and telemark which are accessible from age 8.<\/p>\n For a vacation or a sudden ski urge, a host of promotions are currently on offer at the mountain.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Starting with the 2nd Tuesday Tacos & Touring outing, this February 25, with the alpine touring ticket offered at 50% off ($13 + tax). The idea? To gather at the foot of the slopes when the chairlifts close for an express ascent at 5:30 p.m., and finish at Bar le Tucker for an\u00a0exclusive\u00a0apr\u00e8s-ski with a Tacos & Landshark combo! Please note: you don’t have to do the hike to enjoy the tacos! This activity is open to all, but is not a lesson. Participants must have their own equipment and be autonomous in their descent. Two more outings are scheduled for this season, and tickets are available now!<\/p>\n <\/p>\n To save money on ski days and visit the mountain more often, the SUTTON Multi-Day Card offering 2 to 5 outings on the slopes, taken on consecutive days or not, can offer up to 28% off the ticket price.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Afternoons only are also discounted, while the last hour of skiing, starting at 3 p.m., is still only $19 + tax. Access to the IIw chairlift, and the Family Zone, also has a reduced-cost ticket, at $25 + tax, to spend a moment on the beginner-intermediate slopes of the West Zone. And the magic carpet, as well as tickets for 0-5 years old, are always free at Mont SUTTON.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n For an economical getaway, couples, friends or families can opt for the Ski And Stay package for overnight stays nearby during the week, including lodging, breakfast and 1 day and a half of skiing! All this from just $124 + taxes per person, based on double occupancy.<\/p>\n In addition to the weekly #PurementSUTTON photo contests to win 2 individual day ski tickets, the weekly Mont SUTTON Treasure Hunt invite families to spot the clues left on the trails and register online to record their observations: draws on Fridays, February 28, March 7 and 14!<\/p>\n <\/p>\n A SKIentific activity with Les D\u00e9brouillards will take place at the Main Chalet on Wednesday, March 5 between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. to demystify the secrets of winter, while budding acrobats are safely invited to a Friendly Competition in the snow park on Friday, March 7 to test their jumps and spins.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The 3rd edition of the Sutton Ski Club’s D\u00e9fi skions tous ensemble, benefiting the Fondation Boulanger-B\u00e9dard and encouraging the sporting and cultural development of young people in the region, will take place on Saturday, March 15. The concept is simple: let the curious get a taste of the thrill of the race, and let nostalgic skiers reconnect with the pleasure of these timed descents, through a\u00a0Glalom\u00a0<\/em>event!<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Also always available, everyone can try the yooner, a fun little sled on a ski, offered at a small price for a 2-hour block on chairlift II.
