SUTTON, APRIL 20, 2023<\/strong> \u2013 The 2022-2023 ski season ended under a blazing sun last Sunday at Mont SUTTON during an unifying weekend, just as was this ski reunion season<\/em>. No one could have dreamed better!<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

This winter was marked by the return of the ski demos at the Boutique Exp\u00e9rience SUTTON and the crazy apr\u00e8s-ski at the Bar Le Tucker including the Anniversary Party, the Open Mic Thursdays, the Live Music Fridays and several special parties on Saturdays, which certainly delighted the fans after two years of absence! Several special activities, such as associations with Bell Let\u2019s Talk and the Fondation En Coeur, and the revival of classics at the mountain, such as the events surrounding Valentine’s Day or Easter, attracted many fans over the months.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The highlight of the season if there was one: the euphoria of the announcement of the R\u00e9al\u2019s Challenge on this last weekend of skiing and the grandiose participation of a charmed public.<\/p>\n

A festive atmosphere and a great mood that reminded everyone the essence of skiing at Mont SUTTON and that already gave the desire for new descents… next season!<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

No better way to close the season<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Under a temperature that exceeded 25 degrees Celsius, 33% of the skiable domain was still accessible on Saturday, April 15 to hold the traditional R\u00e9al\u2019s Challenge, a reference to R\u00e9al Boulanger, founder of Mont SUTTON. After two perfect weeks of spring skiing where the ski area was still operating its 60 trails and glades on April 1st, many participants took up the relay race and kept a minimum of two people per two seats at the chairlift II to win the chance to see the sun set on the mountain. Challenge met, the sunset scheduled for 7:36 p.m. was beaten by skiers who also exceeded the previous record, from 2019. Attendance was more than doubled compared to the last event held! A BBQ on the crowded terrace of the Bar Le Tucker and the presence of a DJ on site certainly brought the best to everyone on site. The best way to enjoy the slopes for a last time this season.<\/p>\n

Attractive promotions still on<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Although the mountain is currently closed to the public, some offers are still running until April 30. There are less than two weeks left to take advantage of numerous discounts on various items. The spring sale at the Boutique Exp\u00e9rience SUTTON is still going on, as well as the sale of used equipment at the Rental Center and a reduced rate for a second tune-up before storage at the Repair Shop. In addition, the public also has until April 30 to receive a 15% discount when purchasing their 2023-2024 ski season pass. Several types of season passes are already available at the best rate of the year. By the way, the family pass is now also available to single parents with a child or more for a total inclusiveness of all family models. Whether it’s a renewal or a new membership, the passes are more advantageous than ever, giving holders access to several discounts in the area and at the mountain for the summer season! A temporary closure<\/strong><\/h4>\n

The last day of skiing also means a temporary closure to the public to begin preparations for the summer. Now a four seasons destination, Mont SUTTON is actively preparing its summer mode. On the program: Beginning of the mountain biking and disc-golf season on May 20, camping (rustic) at the summit planned to start on June 2nd, opening of the zipline coaster and the giant zipline, as well as the chairlift ride on June 23rd. A season that already promises to be rich in emotions and entertainment. There is always something great to do at the mountain! And that said, there is also plenty of jobs openings full or part time!
