SUTTON, February 6,\u00a02023<\/strong>\u00a0– The days are getting longer and the slopes are at their beauty peak. In this month of the heart, Mont SUTTON prepares a sweet week for all mountain lovers and tender-hearted\u00a0sporties.<\/p>\n

Special activities from February 11<\/strong><\/p>\n

Cupid’s arrows have found their way to the mountain and themed events will be held. For the occasion, from Saturday, February 11 to Tuesday, February 14, you could be amongst the lucky ones to be lifted up by one of the 2 cushionned\u00a0red chairs of the chairlift II for the most comfortable ride. Anything can happen on the Love Chairs<\/em>!<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The traditional\u00a0Hearts Hunt<\/em>\u00a0will also be back for families on Sunday, February 12 from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Big red hearts will be hidden along the slopes and a SUTTON gift basket will be at stake! An online form will allow the registration of the participants who will have to spot all of them to be eligible.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

At the apr\u00e8s-ski, between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m., Pasquinel will be hosting as usual the always festive\u00a0Open Mic Thursdays<\/em>\u00a0on February 16 and a\u00a0Live Music Friday<\/em>\u00a0featuring Karine Perreault, a sunny country voice, will take place on February 17. Perhaps these will be tinged with romance? We never know what might happen at the Bar Le Tucker!<\/p>\n

Care for a good cause on Saturday, February 18
\n<\/strong>Little known fact, February 14 is also the\u00a0International Congenital Heart Awareness Day<\/em>. So it is with great honour that Mont SUTTON teams up with the Fondation En C\u0153ur <\/em>to host the 1st edition of Sutton En C\u0153ur<\/em>, to support children with heart diseases and their families and ends its Love week by an event to raise awareness about heart health!<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

On Saturday, February 18, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., skiers, snowboarders and alpine touring adepts are invited to take part in 6 hours of physical activity on the slopes, which is the average duration of an open-heart surgery…<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Although their website is in french only, anyone wishing to participate must register, alone or with a team, on the Fondation Sutton En C\u0153ur<\/em> website at www.bit.ly\/suttonencoeur<\/a>. The inscriptions are going on until Wednesday, February 15 at 8 p.m. An exclusive apr\u00e8s-Ski with a DJ and door prizes <\/em>will\u00a0also await participants at the Petit Tucker from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. A great incentive to register now! A fundraising is encouraged, but not required. Money raised can be given to the organization on the day of the event.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

For everybody who will be on site that day, and would wish to contribute to the cause, an awareness kiosk will be at the foot of the slopes. Also, a\u00a0special sausage poutine En C\u0153ur<\/strong>\u00a0<\/em>will be served all day and\u00a0$5 from each sale will be donated at the organization<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

A thought for the loved one!<\/strong>
\n<\/strong>If the mountain landscape alone is enough to make lovers fall in love again, the Sutton area is full of picturesque and warm places to discover for a memorable moment of relaxation and pleasure.\u00a0Ski-And-Stay packages<\/em>\u00a0are to be explored, since 6 lodgings in the area offer a night’s stay, from Mondays to Thursdays, including a day and a half of skiing on weekdays and the breakfast. Attractive stays to try, since the establishments all have a little something on-site, whether it is a microbrewery, a gourmet bistro, a care center or an indoor pool.
