Mont SUTTON is getting ready for the opening of your station this Saturday December 10 and unveil what\u2019s new for the 2022-2023 season!<\/p>\n

An enhanced experience<\/strong><\/span><\/h5>\n

 <\/p>\n

Since its purchase in 2016, more than ten million has been injected to make the mountain a must-visit four-season destination. And this is just the beginning!<\/strong> These investments are part of a multi-year development plan proposed by the firm Ecosign, which specializes in the growth of ski resorts around the world. The objectives of this deployment plan promise to generate changes, allowing a high quality offer all year round.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Recent changes included an increase of the snowmaking capacity, the acquisition of new grooming machines, the development of mountain bike trails and the inauguration of a zipline coaster – a first in Canada. For the 2022-2023 ski season, every effort has been made to modernize the snowmaking system and optimize trails maintenance.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Beyond the snow\u2026<\/strong><\/span><\/h5>\n

 <\/p>\n

*Three major upgrades* have been made for the 2022-2023 season, always in the best respect of the nature and the responsible use of our territory. Primarily, the pipe system was enlarged under the Youppe-Youppe trail, which permitted the addition of four snow guns<\/strong> and their whole repositioning on this line. You will surely notice the upgraded snowmaking<\/strong> of this area.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

In addition, a new compressor<\/strong> was installed which ensures a more efficient air distribution<\/strong> on the entire mountain. This addition granted the removal of outdated equipment that consumed more energy.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The water pumping system<\/strong> on the network has also been improved. At the end of the project, scheduled for the 2023-2024 season, the supply capacity will be doubled to 3,000 gallons per minute<\/strong>, setting a more efficient and responsible use of the resource, as cold periods would be maximized to make more snow<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

For the 2022-2023 season, *many more new features* will please you.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

If you wish to spend more good times at the mountain, many options will be possible with new lodging packages in the area<\/strong>. Moreover, access to Van or RV winter overnight stays<\/a> <\/strong>are offered at the same rate as last summer, only $20 per night. Don\u2019t forget to make your reservation!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Also, the Alpine Touring<\/a><\/strong> lovers will now have access to a larger domain and get the chance to explore an other sector of the mountain rich in natural resources with the inauguration of a third alpine touring trail<\/strong>. An excellent way to vary your ascent before going down the marked trails.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Especially for your little ones<\/strong>, the discovery of new characters in the For\u00eat des merveilles<\/strong> promises a lot of fun. This little trail in the Family Zone<\/a><\/strong> is designed for a playful learning of the sport in the glades, thanks to the presence of enchanting elements.<\/p>\n

Some could even witness features as early as the Friday 9th since the first Live Music Friday of the season will take place at the Bar Le Tucker.
