DANGER – YOU MUST LEAVE THE SKI STATION BY 8 P.M.<\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n
From 7:00 to 8:30 a.m. and from 4:30 to 8:00 p.m., even though the resort is closed, it is important to stay in the designated areas for both ascent and descent. Although our snowmaking and trail maintenance crews are already at work during this time, we have designated trails for alpine hikers to reduce the risk of accidents. Please do not venture onto the surrounding trails as the maintenance crews may be on the trails. ***BEFORE 7:00 AM AND AFTER 8:00 PM, it is STRICTLY FORBIDDEN to be on the skiable terrain.*** The groomers and the use of winches with cable for grooming are a real danger for anyone on the trails! This high tension steel cable is attached to the groomer and can be up to 1km long. It can be difficult to detect because it can wobble, be hidden under the snow, or be under full tension. Don’t put yourself in danger!<\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

\u2022 Respect the schedule and the ascent and descent zones determined by Mont SUTTON.
\n\u2022 Season pass or ticket MANDATORY (purchase online here<\/a>).
\n\u2022 Pre-season and post-season alpine touring is prohibited due to the dangers on the terrain and snowmaking, grooming and maintenance operations.
\n\u2022 Verify the opening status of the alpine touring trails and ski trails before your departure, some trails\/exits could be closed: montsutton.com\/snowreport<\/a>.
\n\u2022 Climb only in designated areas (following the markers on the alpine touring trails or keeping to the edge of the ski trails where and when permitted). Check the authorized areas according to the schedule, refer to the map below.
\n\u2022 Stay visible. Climb in single file, never in rows of two or more.
\n\u2022 When the ascent trail crosses a ski trail, give way to downhill skiers and do not cross in groups.
\n\u2022 It is forbidden to descend on climbing trails and on non-designated, closed or trails being groomed.
\n\u2022 Before and after operation hours, from 7:00 to 8:30 a.m. and from 4:30 to 8:00 p.m., please use the alpine touring trails or designated ascent zones and only use the designated descent zones. For your safety and the safety of our staff, do not leave these areas. Refer to the map below.
\n\u2022 Between the hours of 4 p.m. and 7 p.m., you must be equipped with a white front light and a red rear light.
\n\u2022 If you encounter a vehicle (groomer, ATV), please wait by the edge of the trail for it to pass.
\n\u2022 At all times, use skis or splitboards (equipped with climbing skins) with metal edges, brakes and restraint straps. The use of crampons or snowshoes is prohibited.
\n\u2022 Don’t climb alone (minimum of 3 people recommended).
\n\u2022 The alpine touring trails are not patrolled. Bring a charged cell phone, but be aware that cell phone service is not available everywhere on the mountain.
\n\u2022 No rescue service is available when the ski area is closed. Dial 911 in case of emergency. Refer to the EMERGENCY section below for more details.
\n\u2022 Do not leave any garbage or traces of your passage and respect the surrounding forest by staying on the marked trails.
\n\u2022 Animals (dogs) are not allowed on the alpine touring trails and ski trails.
\n\u2022 At all times, respect the Mountain Code of Conduct<\/a>.
\n\u2022 Mont SUTTON reserves the right to charge a $250 fee or more for assistance outside of its business hours and\/or marked trails + Possible revocation of access and fine.
\n\u2022 Access to the lifts requires a separate ticket or pass.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\u2022 Be well equipped! Bring water, food, whistle and a warm change of clothes.
\n\u2022 Don’t climb alone! Bring a charged cell phone but be aware that cell service does not reach everywhere on the mountain and that the trails are not patrolled.
\n\u2022 Knowledge of first aid is strongly recommended as well as a good physical condition.
\n\u2022 Consult the map<\/a> and choose your route before starting the ascent.
\n\u2022 Please note that packed lunches are not permitted at the 840 m chalet; however, a selection of food, snacks, and beverages will be available to warm you up after your ascent.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Alpine touring trails are not patrolled<\/strong>. Assistance upon signaling only, a delay is to be expected.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

During operation hours (from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.), talk to a patroller or staff member if you require assistance. You can also reach us by phone at 450-538-5007<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Before and after operating hours (from 7:00 to 8:30 a.m. and from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.), no patrol service is available. Call 911<\/strong> if you need help. You are responsible for your own safety.<\/p>\n
