Ultimate frisbee fan? What could be better than mixing two passions in one sport!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>A course of 18 baskets in the middle of Mont SUTTON&#8217;s glades and nature awaits you with your family or friends.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>What is &#8221;Disc golf&#8221;?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Disc golf is played with special discs (similar to a frisbee) and the game is somewhat similar to golf in that the objective is to hit the baskets (holes) throughout the course with as few shots as possible.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In 2022, this sport was played in 79 different countries for a total of 13,323 courses worldwide. Although disc golf is thought to date back to the late 1950s, its popularity is relatively new as 71% of the courses were opened after 2012!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Disc golf at Mont SUTTON with Julien Quenneville\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/Ca8eyeMJN74?feature=oembed&#038;enablejsapi=1&#038;origin=https:\/\/montsutton.com\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>How do we play?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We throw the disc from the specified starting point (mound) and then throw from where our disc is. The player whose disc is farthest from the basket is the next to throw, directly behind where the disc came to rest. To finish the hole, your disc must land in the basket or in the chains. The goal is to play the entire course in a minimum number of throws (par number). The Vegas format is also very popular as it is more collaborative and faster as you start with the best shot of all.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>What we like about the Mont SUTTON course<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Directly in the heart of the Mont SUTTON ski slopes, you will appreciate the wooded environment and the view as well as the many other mountain activities. The course is for all levels.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Player reception<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The reception of the players is done at Rental Center or the Boutique, depending the day, and the start will be at the foot of the slopes.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The people in charge will explain the course as well as some basic rules to respect for the Disc golf.
