You like physical activities and you are looking to be at one with nature? Mont SUTTON offers different hiking experiences that will satisfy all adventure lovers. And if you want to make the outing more entertaining with the family, check out our new Nature’s Hunt and Seek<\/a> and the BioKit of the massif des monts Sutton<\/a> with you (to take at your arrival or to print home).\u00a0Here are the available options:<\/p>\n

1. The hike with the chairlift ride <\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

This shortened hike is perfect for families or anyone who wants to enjoy the view.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

For this one, several combinations are possible: you can either take the chairlift ride<\/a> up, down or for the round-trip (offered as of June 21nd).<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The chairlift ride gives you quick access to the observation point at the top of the Chalet Alt.680m, from where you can then continue your ascent by hiking to the summit Alt.840m and back down by the ski slopes or by chairlift ride.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Some people do their cardio by climbing to one of the summits and then enjoy the descent by chairlift with their feet in the air.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Take advantage of this experience to contemplate the flora and discover the different sculptures of local artists<\/a> along the slopes.<\/p>\n

2. The Lake Mohawk hike<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

This hike, expert level, is perfect for advanced hikers. Good hiking boots are a must. From the ski resort, it lasts approximately 4 to 5 hours (round trip) and offers a magnificent panorama of Lake Mohawk in the Parc d’environnement naturel de Sutton<\/a>. For a view of the surrounding mountains, continue your hike to the Abenakis rock. What are you waiting for?<\/p>\n

3. Free hiking options<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Walking on the Mont SUTTON ski trails is free (SUMMERTIME ONLY, May to November)!<\/p>\n

And there are also two other free hiking options near the main chalet of Mont SUTTON.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

A hike called \u201cMarmite aux sorci\u00e8res\u201d : A short hike of about 20-30 minutes that will bring you at a nice creek and its cascades. Perfect hike for families. For those interested, this trail also connects to the village-mountain trail.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Also, a hike called after its little waterfall \u201cChute du P\u00e9kan\u201d: This hike is approximately 1 hour to 1 hour and 30 minutes long and is suitable for both beginners and intermediate hikers.<\/p>\n

4. Hiking on the trails of the Parc d’environnement naturel de Sutton<\/strong><\/p>\n

To discover the trails of the Parc d’environnement naturel de Sutton<\/a>, You must either reserve your daily access online<\/a> or directly at the reception desk. Note that during peak season, from September 1st to October 31st, you can only reserve your access online<\/a>.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Forgot your windbreaker, sunscreen or cap at home? You will probably find what you need at the Boutique Exp\u00e9rience SUTTON<\/a>. Before and after the hike, the Cube-Ik restaurant<\/a> with its giant table is perfect to fill you up and quench your thirst.<\/em><\/p>\n
