Mont SUTTON is in a class of its own and if you’ve ever been at the mountain, you know exactly that feeling you get when seeing on the horizon, the white peaks of Mont SUTTON nested in the Green Mountain Nature Reserve. The drive itself will plunge you in the quintessence of slow living as you enter the charming country side village of Sutton.

One of the things that makes Mont SUTTON so special are the welcoming locals, you will quickly notice the laid back friendly atmosphere within skiers and snowboarders. Other noticeable locals are Mont SUTTON’s guides, you can’t miss them, they wear the orange ski jacket with a big question mark. They are true ambassadors and will be more than happy to make your first visit a memorable one. They will guide you through a variety of scenic slopes as well as the many natural snow trails and glades according to your skills and taste. Free guided tours are offered everyday with departures twice a day from the base of chairlift II: 9:30 a.m. and 1 p.m.

Mont SUTTON has some of the most stunning views and landscape, 230 acres of skiable terrain and 45 % of it are glades… hidden gems waiting to be discovered! A choice of 60 trails and 204 junctions to please even the most demanding skiers and snowboarders, the 1,500 feet of vertical drop will definitely put a smile on your face!

If this is your first visit, you want your first stop to be at the mountain base where you will find the main chalet Alt. 400 m and all the services: tickets counter, ski school, rental shop, ski shop with the latest equipment and outerwear, day care, restaurants and a bar. The trails are laid out West to East with 9 chairlifts deserving all levels of trails from beginners to 3 diamonds extreme trails as well as alpine touring trails, a snow park, and a family zone with a magic carpet. You will also find 4 chalets with restaurants, 3 of them with fireplaces, 2 of those restaurants are nestled in the mountain with majestic views of the Eastern Townships as well as the Montérégie and the Green Mountains Nature Reserve.


It’s quite easy to find your way around the vast skiable domain but don’t hesitate to join a guided tour so you can make the most of your day. There are only so many hours in a day and an infinite choice of trails combinations!
