Team report
Saturday, March 21
It looks like winter isn’t quite over yet. In fact, yesterday the mountain got a light dusting of 8 to 9 cm of beautiful snow, which made all the winter sports enthusiasts very happy.
A very exciting day is shaping up with plenty of activities, a few more snowflakes this morning, and possible sunshine alternating with clouds. Don’t miss out on this!
Lifts I, IIo, II, IV, VII and the magic carpet will be operating during regular hours.
25 trails and a few glades are open
Changes are always possible
Conditions: Thanks to the hard work of the grooming team, our trails are in very good condition. We’ll have several trails available as soon as the resort opens.
Conditions will therefore vary depending on whether you’re skiing on made snow or natural snow in certain areas throughout the day. Groomed powder, granular snow, and possibly softened snow, with a few bumpy spots. Stay alert, however—despite the fresh snow, the base remains firm, and you may need to avoid some patches of ice during the day. A few thin spots or areas covered by fresh snow will require caution on the natural snow runs
At 5 a.m., the temperature was -4 degrees with a few flurries that stopped this morning, and we should see a mix of sun and clouds And here’s another interesting update: snow is still in the forecast for Sunday
Chalet Altitude 400 (main chalet) and Altitude 840 are open with food and beverage service.
Alpine touring: Only the East alpine touring trail is open until further notice, and only recommanded for experts. See the trail map, schedules and link to purchase passes and tickets at montsutton.com/alpinetouring
