New this year, among other things, in-line skating

enlightening experience!
Young athletes interested in joining the Club will be required to attend a qualifying camp. Camps are typically held in the spring around mid-March. In-season basic training takes up 4 hours per week-end day (9 a.m. to 2.30 p.m. or 8.30 a.m. to 2 p.m., depending on the age), in addition to the Christmas camp. Typically the on-snow programs start in December and run through the end of March. Methods used include the leaded ski periods, educative layouts, gate training, video detect and correct technical session, as well as sessions on ski preparation and maintenance. In addition to the development of technical
skills, participation in club activities encourages
the development of team spirit, cooperation
and camaraderie. |
