Musée des communications et d’histoire de Sutton will receive, from June 3 to October 9, 2017, the exposition Vélo Sutton that tells the story of the evolution of this sport, more and more popular, starting with the first club launched in 1976 by Denis Boulanger, Victor Lambert, Charles Kelly and other friends. This group founded the Coupe des Amériques, the 34th edition will take place from June 23 to June 25. The godmother of this exposition is a cyclist from the region, Lyne Bessette! The 50th anniversary of Vélo Québec will also be celebrated.
Garnotte – Comic book artist and cartoonist
Alongside to the expo, the museum will present a serie of drawings around the theme of bikes, drawn by the reknown cartoonist from Le Devoir, Michel Garneau – Garnotte. Did you know he was a comic book artist in a former life? He even draw cartoons for Vélo Québec!
