Bonjour, and good day to all of Mont Sutton.

I have skied Mont Sutton twice. Stayed at Hotel Horizon chalets for a few nights and had joyous flash-backs to my skiing upbringing. More sweet than I could explain, just now… Skiing that week was kind of like sailing a boat, the wind is not always the best, maybe it was too this or that, but the experience of what it could be, if all the conditions are right, is what makes me want to come back. (I am 55 and have skied for 49 of those, so, yes I know about conditions!) We got hailed out, we got rained out, we got freezing rained out. We had the right equipment for this stuff, so one can see past the crappy weather and realize what could be experienced… I have skied east and west, big and small. Your (previously), family run ski oasis is very much like the hill I grew up skiing in northern Ontario. Searchmont, just outside Sault Ste Marie, Ontario. Yes, you are bigger and broader, and altogether way more exciting, but hey it is Quebec… vibrant!! but the essence, spirit, good-old gruntiness of a mountain tweeked here and there, but by no means, (I use your term and agree with it), boulavarded runs. Yeck!. I like the surprise, the level of anticipation each of your 200 plus ribbons of run variations… Wow. I ran out of words.

I will be coming back this Thursday, and I get to use a complimentary ski pass you gave me when I got freezing rain shut out. I will be the guy with the Canadian Flag on his ski pole. Hope to see you!
